We have received encouraging turnout rate and participation in this webinar, held on the 26 May 2020. We were honoured to co-host this webinar with acclaimed law firm, Peter Ong Law Corporation (POLC). POLC’s founder and managing director, Mr. Peter Ong Lip Cheng, shared an insightful presentation on the various legal rights and options for individuals facing challenges in fulfilling their contractual obligations. Mr. Ong touched on the doctrine of Contractual Frustration, through easy-to-understand and intuitive examples, and subsequently, our advisor, Mr. Boo Kok Chuon, shared on how the newly enacted COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act could provide relief to parties in mitigating their contractual obligations.
