Iconomy Group of Companies Showcases at Vesak 2024 Carnival

The Iconomy Group of Companies is proud to announce its successful participation in the Vesak 2024 carnival at the Singapore Expo on 12 May 2024, organised by the Singapore Buddhist Federation and generously sponsored by the Buddhist Business Network (“BBN”). The event provided a valuable platform for Iconomy Group to showcase its services to the visitors of the carnival.

The highlight of the event was the visit to our booth by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, along with the First Lady Jane Yumiko Ittogi. They were warmly received by our Group CEO, Mr Boo Kok Chuon, our Managing Director, Ms Clarie Chan, and our legal advisor, Ms Rajvant Kaur, who is also the Managing Director and CEO of our partner law practice, Omnia Law Chambers LLC.

During the event, we proudly sold our corporate guide book, “Corporate Directions: A Comprehensive Guide for Directors of SMEs in Singapore,” and distributed free balloons to children. All proceeds from the sales were donated to the Singapore Buddhist Federation, reflecting our commitment to supporting the community.

Omnia Law Chambers LLC played an integral role in our participation at the Vesak 2024 carnival. Ms Rajvant Kaur, in her capacity as Managing Director and CEO of Omnia Law Chambers LLC, provided invaluable legal insights and support, demonstrating the firm’s expertise in estate planning and asset protection. This collaboration underscored the strong partnership between Iconomy Group and Omnia Law Chambers LLC, highlighting our shared commitment to fostering community engagement and social responsibility.

Reflecting on the event, Mr Boo Kok Chuon, Group CEO of Iconomy Group, commented, “We are honoured to have had the opportunity to participate in the Vesak 2024 carnival. It was a privilege to interact with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and First Lady Jane Yumiko Ittogi, and to showcase our services to the community. We are particularly proud of our partnership with Omnia Law Chambers LLC, which allows us to offer comprehensive support to SMEs in Singapore.”

Ms Clarie Chan, Managing Director of Iconomy Group, added, “The Vesak 2024 carnival was an excellent platform for us to engage with the community and to highlight the importance of corporate governance and legacy planning. We are grateful for the support from the Singapore Buddhist Federation and the Buddhist Business Network.”

Ms Rajvant Kaur, Managing Director and CEO of Omnia Law Chambers LLC, stated, “Our involvement in the Vesak 2024 carnival was a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to community service and to provide legal guidance on estate planning and asset protection. We are delighted to work alongside Iconomy Group in supporting the community and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.”

President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, in his address during the event, highlighted the significance of mutual respect and dialogue among diverse communities. He emphasised, “Every ethnic and religious community’s welfare is inseparable from others in society; all communities are interrelated.” This message resonates deeply with Iconomy Group’s corporate values of inclusivity and social responsibility. Our strong commitment to these values is evidenced by our active involvement in community projects through our corporate foundation, Iconomy Foundation Limited.
